Host Your Own Shark Week Celebrations
Take a break from binge watching all the shark mayhem you can handle and invite others to share in the celebration. A Shark Week party is easy to pull off, with party themes ranging from simply nautical to full-out Jaws. Provide ocean-themed treats such as blue jello, goldfish crackers, and cookies with “shark bites” taken out. Don’t forget the fruity drinks with umbrellas! Encourage guests to dress up in their best beach duds or challenge them to create their own shark costume.

Incorporating pool games into your shark week party is an easy and affordable way to capture the excitement of Shark Week. For younger kids, try games like “Dolphins Vs. Sharks”. For adults, ask guests to put on their best performance of a scene from Jaws. Other pool games for all ages include water races and obstacle courses where guests must out-swim a “shark.”
